MARSHALL, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas volleyball team won its third match in a row and second consecutive in five sets after coming back to defeat Mississippi College Saturday morning at the first American Southwest Conference Crossover of the season.

The Tornados (4-11, 3-6 ASC) lost the first set against the Choctaws, but were able to again come back and win in thrilling fashion by scores of 19-25, 25-22, 23-25, and 15-13.

Later in the day, CTX dropped the final match of the tournament in four sets to the host, East Texas Baptist University, by the scores of 21-25, 25-19, 24-26, 20-25.

CTX will return to the court on Monday, October 5, in an ASC tilt with Sul Ross State University at Concordia Fieldhouse.  The match is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
