Austin, Texas - Alison Pringle tallied 13 kills and also contributed three service aces in leading the Concordia University Texas volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Sul Ross State on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the CTX Field House. Set scores were 25-15, 25-18, 22-25 and 25-16.

Pringle set a career high for service aces and matched her career best for kills to propel the Tornados to their second straight victory. Samantha Ladewig also set a career mark with 44 assists, as Concordia used a 5-1 offense for the first time this season. Brooke Blanton and Shelbi Chipman finished with eight and six kills, respectively, without recording an error. Chipman also had an .857 hitting percentage, while Blanton hit at a .571 clip. Jordan Grosse added a match-high 13 digs and Stacy Manship fell just shy of a double-double with nine kills and 11 digs.

Sul Ross State (1-9, ASC 0-4), which has lost 59 straight conference matches, got strong contributions from Tamika Harris, Josette Delgado and Kathy Peralez. Harris had eight kills and recorded a .538 hitting percentage, while Delgado had 24 assists. Peralez added 10 digs.

Concordia (6-5, ASC 2-3) concludes its three-game homestand when it hosts McMurry on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m.
