Bianca Martinez fell just shy of a double-double in her final match as a collegian, but the Concordia University Texas volleyball team fell to Trinity by a 3-0 decision on Friday, Oct. 26 at Sam's Gym. The Tigers won by set scores of 25-13, 25-14 and 25-22.
Martinez posted 12 assists and nine digs along with a service ace to lead the Tornados.
Stacy Manship added a team-high eight kills on .261 hitting, while senior
Suzy Parker had five kills and three digs and classmate
Amanda Affolter added four kills and six digs to close out their respective careers.
Alissa Johnson had a game-high 17 digs.
Trinity (16-13) was paced by Maggie Emodi's double-double performance of 10 kills and 13 digs. Kelsey Daniel had seven kills and a match-high seven blocks, while Jana Tucker finished with 15 kills and three blocks.
Concordia (10-18) is slated to return 16 letterwinners, including four of its six starters as well as libero
Alissa Johnson, next season.
