Balanced attack leads Tornados to sweep of LeTourneau on Friday evening

MARSHALL, Texas – The Concordia University Texas volleyball team used a balanced attack to record a sweep against LeTourneau on Friday evening at Keys Gym. The Tornados won by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-16.

Concordia Texas (6-10, 3-4 ASC) hit at a .254 clip while picking up its second victory of the day.

Sam Ladewig ran point for the Tornados offense and dished out 34 assists. The Houston, Texas, native also collected 10 digs to complete the double-double effort.

Katie Baker and Cassie Dominguez chipped on the defensive end with 16 and 11 stops, respectively.

Meanwhile, the YellowJackets (5-14, 0-7 ASC) were limited to a .084 hitting percentage. Sarah Krippner handed out 22 helpers to lead LeTourneau.

Concordia will wrap up its leauge pod on Saturday. The Tornados will play host East Texas Baptist at 10 a.m. before squaring off with Texas-Tyler at 12 p.m.
