GEORGETOWN, Texas – Behind 15 kills by Alissa Johnson, the Concordia University Texas volleyball team defeated Austin College in four sets by scores of 18-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-15 on Friday afternoon at the Robertson Center.
Johnson led four Tornados (12-18) into double digits her her season-high offensive output. Alison Pringle (11 kills), Skye Truss (11) and Katie Baker (10) all chipped in to the come-from-behind victory.
Meanwhile, Baker, who also had a season-high 22 digs, Zöe Allen (12 assists/10 digs) and Sam Ladewig (25 assists/11 digs) all recorded double-doubles.
The Kangaroos (18-18) were limited to a .154 hitting percentage.
Concordia Texas, which hit .351 in the final frame, will close out the regular season on Saturday when it takes on Southwestern. First serve is scheduled to take place at 3:30 p.m.
