AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas volleyball team will begin its 2014 season this weekend at the Bulldog Classic in Seguin. The Tornados will play Schreiner at 10 a.m. Friday, followed by host Texas Lutheran at 4 p.m. Concordia Texas also will face Willamette at 10 a.m. Saturday and Wisconsin-Oshkosh four hours later.

The Tornados are led by first-year head coach Nicole McCoy, who joined the team after spending the last seven seasons as a Division I assistant. McCoy will rely upon seven returning letter winners to lead the squad, including Katie Baker, who was a third-team All-American Southwest Conference pick in 2013. Additionally, Concordia added 12 newcomers to the fold.

Live stats will be available for Friday's games, but no coverage will be provided on Saturday.
