SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran handed the Concordia University Texas volleyball team a three-set loss in the nightcap on Friday at the Bulldog Classic at Susan Duke Court. The Bulldogs won the contest by scores of 25-22, 25-11 and 25-21.

The Tornados (1-1) were limited to a .018 hitting percentage after the squad committed 24 attack errors.

Carly Custer led Concordia Texas with nine kills, while Zoe Allen handed out 18 assists.

Kristin Fording and Brette Threadgill each tallied 10 winners to pace Texas Lutheran (2-0). Katie Darst also dished out a match-high 23 assists.

The Tornados will take on Willamette at 10 a.m. Saturday before wrapping up tournament play against Wisconsin-Oshkosh four hours later.
