KERRVILLE, Texas – The Concordia University Texas volleyball team posted a sweep of former American Southwest Conference foe Schreiner on Tuesday night at Edington Gymnasium. The Tornados won the contest by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-16.

Concordia Texas (2-3) raced to its second sweep of the Mountaineers (0-5) this season.

Zoe Allen led the team with 18 assists and a .500 hitting percentage. Jordan Redmond chipped in with nine kills, while Cassie Dominguez recorded 14 digs.

The Tornados limited Schreiner to a .043 hitting percentage, while forcing 18 attack errors.

Concordia will return to Austin to open its home slate this weekend. The Tornados will host Our Lady of the Lake and Wiley in a pair of non-conference contests on Saturday at Concordia Fieldhouse. The first contest is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., while the nightcap will be played at 2 p.m.
