BOX SCORE BELTON, Texas -- The Concordia Texas volleyball team fell at Mary Hardin-Baylor Friday night in a 3-0 decision.

Katie Baker led the Tornado attack with nine kills. Lexi Perez grabbed a game-high 19 digs to help the Concordia defense.

The Cru block proved to be too much for the Tornados, as the nation's second-best blocking squad knocked down 12 Concordia attacks over the course of the night.

The Tornados battled in the opening set, falling 25-22. UMHB controlled the remaining frames, 25-16, 25-12.

Concordia returns home Oct. 14 for a non-conference battle with Schreiner. First serve is at 7 p.m.
