BOX SCORE RICHARDSON, Texas -- The Concordia Texas volleyball team concluded day one of the ASC Volleyball Tournament with a 3-0 loss to No. 15 UT Dallas Thursday evening.

The Comets rolled to 25-6, 25-2 victories in the first two sets, but the Tornados would not surrender lightly. The two teams battled to a 12-12 tie in the third set before UT Dallas closed out the sweep with a 25-19 win.

Katie Baker had seven kills for the CTX attack, while Lexi Perez added nine digs.

Concordia will take on East Texas Baptist in an elimination contest tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.
