BOX SCORE RICHARDSON, Texas -- The Concordia Texas volleyball team fell 3-0 to Mary Hardin-Baylor in an elimination contest Saturday afternoon, ending the Tornados' historic ASC Tournament run.

The third-place tournament finish was the best in Concordia history since the Tornados won it all in 1999.

The Cru controlled the match nearly wire-to-wire, taking the sets 25-19, 25-15, 25-15.

Katie Baker led the match with 11 kills, but defending ASC champion UMHB's top-ranked blocking was too much to handle for the Tornado attack.

Concordia ends its season with a 14-13 record, marking its first winning season since 2000. The 14 wins matches the fourth-best total in program history (2002, 2014).

The team went 3-2 in the ASC Tournament. It was the most matches the Tornados ever played in the event.

Skye Truss was selected to the All-Tournament team, getting 34 kills, 10 aces and 13 total blocks in five matches played.

Update -- Mary Hardin-Baylor went on to fall in the title match to UT Dallas. Further updated to include CTX's all-tournament selection.
