BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas volleyball team took home a dramatic 3-2 victory over McMurry Wednesday night at the Concordia Fieldhouse. The Tornados rallied from a 7-4 deficit to take the fifth set, 15-12.

Katie Baker and Jordan Redmond went back-to-back on the final two points. Fans stormed the court once Redmond nailed the winner.

Baker led Concordia with 16 kills and chipped in 15 digs. Redmond added 13 kills. Both hit at over a .250 clip for the match. Nacole Miller dished a game-high 33 assists. Lexi Perez grabbed 18 digs to pace the defense.

The Tornados took the first set by the minimum, 25-23, fighting off a War Hawk rally late.

The momentum shifted back to Concordia for the third set. The Tornados played the frame without yielding an attack error and won 25-16. The War Hawks tied the match back at two sets a piece, taking the fourth set by the same score.

Concordia returns to conference play as they visit Howard Payne Friday and Sul Ross on Saturday.
