BOX SCORE BELTON, Texas – The Concordia Texas volleyball team came up short in a 3-1 decision at Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday night in the Tornados' final conference road match of the year.
Despite winning the first set 25-23, CTX couldn't carry the momentum into the second and third frames, which the Cru controlled 25-13 and 25-14, respectively.
The Tornados tried to force a fifth set but fell short 25-20.
Marissa Stinson led the CTX attack with 13 kills.
Concordia returns home to take on McMurry. First serve is at 6 p.m. The Tornados will honor their seniors prior to the contest.
