SEGUIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas men's tennis team showed no signs of rust in a dominating 9-0 performance against Texas Lutheran on Friday, remaining perfect on the season.

The Tornados, who had not been on the court since defeating Schreiner back on Feb. 12, were all business against the Bulldogs, sweeping the doubles matches and dropping only set in singles play.

Concordia Texas only lost two games between the three double matches as Robin Van der Heijden and Adrian Munguia led way with an 8-1 decision at line one, while Riley O'Connor and Esteban Arredondo shut out TLU's Dylan Layne and Joshua Bowman at line two.

The Tornados continued to perform well in singles play, rolling in straight sets in every match except at line five, where Jorge Garcia had to come back from an opening set deficit, winning the next two sets 6-0, 7-5 to secure a sweep of the Bulldogs 9-0.

Concordia Texas will return to the courts on Feb. 22 when they play host to LeTourneau at 2 p.m. at the River Place Country Club in Austin, Texas.
