Early In the second half, CTX used a 10-2 run and cut the lead down to 58-56 after Gonzalo Munoz's 3-point jumper.
The Tornados kept the deficit within single digits throughout the second half thanks to Meikle's nine points in the half, while Munoz added seven.
Trailing 78-70 in the final minutes of the game, Meikle and Spencer Bone hit back-to-back 3-pointers to cut it to two with under 30 seconds to play.
On the ensuing possession, Meikle secured the rebound after an ETBU miss, giving CTX an opportunity to tie or take the lead.
