LONGVIEW, Texas – The Concordia Texas women's tennis team did not drop a single set in any match on the night, recording their second straight shutout, sweeping LeTourneau 9-0 on Saturday at the Davis Tennis Courts.

The, who completed a sweep of Texas Lutheran on Sunday, continued to win in dominating fashion against the YelllowJackets, jumping out to a 3-0 advantage after doubles play.

At line one, Isabella Wiik and Natalia Goodman teamed up for an 8-3 victory over LETU's Summer Apostalo and Bailey Deatherage.

Meanwhile, at line two, Kaitlin Stevens and Claire Austin took care of business with an 8-2 win. Alejandra Rueda and Emily Hines completed the doubles sweep with an 8-2 decision at line three.

In singles play, it all Tornados once again, never dropping a single set in any of the six matches.

Wiik outlasted the YellowJackets' Deatherage 7-5 in a first set tiebreaker and completed the straight set win with a 6-3 decision in the following set. Austin and Goodman grabbed wins in straight sets at line two and three, respectively.

Rueda, meanwhile, earned an 6-2, 6-3 victory at line four, followed by wins at line five and six by Stevens and Hines to complete the shutout of LETU, respectively.

Concordia Texas will continue their road trip on Saturday, traveling to Marshall, Texas for a non-conference battle against East Texas Baptist at 9 a.m.
