AUSTIN, Texas - The #2 seed Concordia Texas men's soccer team was downed by the #6 seed LeTourneau Yellowjackets in a 1-1 tie that resulted in a 5-4 penalty kicks result. Theo Givens scored in the ASC semifinal at the Lewis-Chen Family Field on Thursday.

Both teams had a multitude of oppounities offensively as the Tornados outfired the Yellowjackets 27-17.

The Tornaods opened up the scoring in the 10th minute when they capitalized on a counter attack, and Gustavo Hernandez found a streaking Givens for the score.

Neither team would score again in the first half. The Yellowjackets would have an opportunity to even the score with two shots right in front of the goal, but Joshua Redding would stand tall in the 71st minute.

LeTourneau would convert on a broken play in the 88th minute to send the match to extra time.

As neither team would break free in extra time, the match would come down to penalty kicks where LETU was victorious, 5-4.
