RICHARDSON, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis team blanked the University of the Ozarks in the ASC Tournament quarterfinal. The Tornados downed the Eagles in a 5-0 decision at the UTD Tennis Courts on Thursday.

CTX raced out to a 2-0 lead when the duos of Joshua Bode / Adrian Munguia and Esteban Arredondo / Joeri Bregman earned 8-5 victories. The team of Daniel Beckles and Andres Padilla pushed their lead to 3-0 with an 8-0 win heading into singles action.

Bode powered through his opponent on court one with a 6-1, 6-3 win, while Arredondo clinched the fifth with with a decisive 6-2, 6-2 triumph in position five. 

Concordia Texas will now take on the host team, UT-Dallas, in the ASC semifinal tomorrow, April 21st at 2 p.m.
