BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas - Fresh off a five-set win less than 24 hours ago, the Concordia Texas volleyball team dropped a four-set ASC matchup against Hardin-Simmons University. The Tornados claimed the opening set inside the CTX Fieldhouse on Saturday.

Savannah Kari sparked 7-3 sprint to carry CTX to the 25-21 win. HSU led 16-14 midway through the second set, before a 5-0 run gave them the momentum to tie the series at one game apiece.
Game three saw both teams tied 14-all, before a 4-0 run by the Cowgirls gave them the separation needed in a 25-21 victory. Hardin-Simmons then rattled off the first seven points in the fourth set, but the Tornados came roaring back as a kill by
Olivia Robinson cut the deficit to 10-9. With the set dealocked at 19-all, the Cowgirls gained the momentum with a 4-1 advantage en route to the 25-22 win and the match triumph.
Concordia Texas will now stay at home for a midweek, conference match against UMHB on Tuesday, September 26th at 6 p.m.
