ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's soccer team was downed in a 1-0 contest against Trinity University. The Tigers tallied the lone goal of the match in the first half inside the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex on Sunday.
The Tornados had an scoring opportunity in the 35th when a streaking Kallie Krenz fired a shot that barely missed the target in the 35th. Less than a minute later, the Tigers scored off a corner that bounced to the foot of their forward. As both teams fought for a clear shot (Trinity: 5 SOG, CTX: 3 SOG), neither team would score again for a 1-0 result.
Concordia Texas will next travel to Abilene to take on McMurry this Tuesday at 7pm.
