AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's basketball was bested by a score of 73-51 in the finale of the Concordia Holiday Classic. Second year guard
Corey Thompson posted a team-high 11 points inside the Deb & Don Christian Fieldhouse on Monday.
The Tornados claimed a 16-13 lead with a jumper by Thompson at the 12:57. The Boxers responded with a 20-7 run over the next nine minutes to obtain a double-digit lead at 33-23.
Coming out the break with an 11-point advantage, another burst would see Pacific's lead grow to as much as 26 points. Both teams would even out throughout the remainder of the game as the Boxers would claim the victory.
Concordia Texas will next host Hardin-Simmons this Saturday, Januaury 4th at 3pm.
