SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's tennis team fell in a showdown against Trinity University whose team is nationally ranked 14th in the nation. The Tornaods were defeated 8-1 on Friday.

CTX fell in an early 0-2 whole with a pair of 8-1 defeats in doubles action. The duo of Kaitlin Stevens & Emily Pullen fought valiantly in the final doubles match, but fell 8-4. The Tigers won the first three matches in singles action to clinch the win, but Isabella Cepeda tallied a three-set victory (2-6, 6-0, 10-5) to get the Tornados on the board. 

Concordia Texas will be right back in action tomorrow where they will face St. Thomas in Houston at 2pm.
