HOUSTON, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's tennis team defeated the University of St. Thomas by a score of 6-3. The Tornados swept doubles play at Houston Memorial Park.

Trinity Klamecki both posted 8-4 wins for an early 2-0 lead. The duo of
Emily Pullen and
Kaitlin Stevens made it an 8-6 advantage with an 8-6 victory on court two.
In singles action, the Tornados were close to an 8-1 victory as Pena and Cepeda fell in three-set decisions on lines one and two.
Aria Moreni dominated on line six with a 6-2, 6-2 win, while Klamecki posted a 6-2, 6-4 victory for their fifth win. The final triumph came on line five where Stevens claimed a 7-5, 6-1 win.
Concordia Texas will now return home to host Schreiner University next Friday, February 23rd at 4pm.
