SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis team almost completed an upset over Trinity University whose team is nationally ranked 14th in the nation. The men fell in a 5-4 on Friday.

The Tornados claimed one out of the three matches with Joshua Bode and Adrian Munguia winning 8-4. The Tigers won the first match of singles play, but CTX came storming back for a 4-3 lead when Bode (6-4, 6-4), Chase Scholz (7-6, 6-4) & Kishan Kersten (4-6, 7-6, 6-4) all earned victories. Trinity would escape with the 5-4 win by winning the final two matches on lines five & six.

Concordia Texas will be right back in action tomorrow where they will face St. Thomas in Houston at 2pm.
