SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's golf team placed fourth overall in the first event of the spring season. Parker Smith led the Tornados with a top-10 finish at the TPC San Antonio Shootout.

The Tornados played 27 holes on Monday, and 18 holes on Tuesday. Smith was steady throughout the tournament with a team-best 27 pars as he fired a score of 79-38-73-190 to tie for seventh at the event. 

CJ Reitmeyer, AJ So, & Nicholas Evans all placed in the top-20 for CTX. Reitmeyer had a solid outing as he scored 73-39-81-194 to tie for 15th-place. 

So (76-39-79) & Evans both shot identical scores of 76-39-79 and connected on a team best six birdies at the event. They finished one stroke behind Reitmeyer to tie for 18th. Rounding out the scoring for Concordia was Jorge Arnaud who tied for 24th with a score of 82-38-77-197.

Concordia Texas will now prepare for the Space City Classic in Houston, Texas on February 26-27.
