ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's golf team competed on its home course at the Linda Lowery Invitational, finishing eighth overall after two rounds at Teravista Golf Course.

The Tornados were led by Parker Smith, who delivered one of the top performances of the tournament. Smith tied for the second-most birdies in the field with eight and posted a two-round total of 70-75 to finish among the team's top performers.

Kaden English showed one of the biggest improvements on the leaderboard, climbing 10 spots in the final round. English followed his opening round with a strong second round to finish at +10 overall, highlighted by consistent play throughout the day.

AJ So also contributed a solid performance for Concordia, finishing at +7 across the two rounds, while Jacob Limon rounded out the scoring lineup.

As hosts of the event, Concordia Texas fielded two teams in the tournament. The Tornados' second group featured Dylan Buckley, Wesley Gipson, Devlin Padilla, Hunt Sellers, and Cole Pospisil.

Additionally, Tyler Jones, Holden Todd, and Cruz Montoya competed as individuals, gaining valuable tournament experience against a competitive field.

Concordia Texas will next travel to Frankston, TX to compete in the Pines Dunes Invitational starting next Monday, March 30th. The tournament, hosted by LeTourneau, will be at the Pine Dunes Resort & Golf Club.
