GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis team was bested 7-2 against Wesleyan University. Joshua Bode and Kishan Kersten collected singles wins at Southwestern University on Friday. 

The teams of Esteban Arredondo / Kersten & Daniel Beckles / Joeri Bregman were both defeated by a score of 8-4. Bode & Adrian Munguia was outlasted in an 8-7 score going into singles play. 

Bode got the Tornados on the board with a 6-2, 6-4 victory on line one. Wesleyan then claimed wins on lines two & three to clinch, before Kersten won a three-set battle by a score of 6-7, 7-5, 10-5. Wesleyan would then win the last two matches in lines five and six to cap off the day.

Concordia Texas will now host Amherst College at the Austin Tennis Academy this Monday, March 18th at noon.
