AUSTIN,Texas- The Concordia men's tennis team defeated East Texas Baptist University in a ASC conference matchup on Saturday. The men posted an 8-1 victory at River Place Country Club .

In doubles play, the duo Joshua Bode / Adrian Munguia & Daniel Beckles / Joeri Bregman secured 8-6 and 8-5 victories on lines one and three. Esteban Arredondo & Kishan Kersten thought valiantly but came up short in a 7-8 doubles matchup.

The men's swept singles action matches in two sets dominating in every line. Bode conquered his opponent on line one (6-2, 7-5), while Steven Scholz won the second line (6-3,6-4). Munguia defeated his opponent 6-1,6-2 on line three.

The Tornados continue to stay hot with Beckles and Bregman outlasting their opponents to close out the day and secure the victory.

Concordia Texas will now focus on their next match up against Carnegie Mellon University on March 6 at 1 PM.
