KERRVILLE, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's golf team earned a sixth-place finish at the Schreiner Spring Shootout. CJ Reitmeyer had a dominant second round as with a score of 83-72-155 (+11) to tie for 24th overall at the Comanche Trace.
Parker Smith (77-79-156) and Nicholas Evans (81-75-156) finished one shot behind Reitmeyer to tie for 26th at the event. AJ So shot a 79-83-162 (40th-place), while Koke Dolce (Tied for 43rd) rounded out the scoring for CTX at 81-84-165.
Smith had a team-high 22 pars on the course, while Reitmeyer provided a team-best five birdies. Concordia had the most success on par-three holes where they averaged a score 3.53, third best at the tournament.
Concordia Texas will next head to Longview, Texas for the Pinecrest Intercollegiate on March 11-12 at the Pinecrest Country Club.
