GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's golf team capped off their regular season slate with a seventh-place finish at the West Region Invitational. Parker Smith tied for eighth at the Berry Creek Country Club on Monday.

Smith led the way for the Tornados with a score of 73-76-149 to go along with 24 pars. Jorge Arnaud (79-78-159) was one of three Tornados to post a better score in the second round, while AJ So (76-81-159) tied him for 27th and a team-high six birdies.

Carl Martinez tied for 30th with a two-round score of 76-82-158, and Nicholas Evans closed out the team scoring at 82-81-163 for 47th-place tie. Connor Colangelo (85-78-163) & Koke Dolce (79-84-163) competed at the Invitational as individuals joined Evans for 47th-place. 

Concordia Texas will now have a two weeks to prepare for the ASC Championships on April 19-21. The Tournament will be held in Granbury, Texas at the Nutcracker Golf Club.
