The Crusaders took a 6-0 lead after the first two innings. Keeping the Tornados' bats at bay, they would then notch two more runs in the fifth inning to secure the run-rule victory.
Concordia Texas will now enter the American Southwest Tournament as the six-seed where they will take on Hardin-Simmons in the first round of the double elimination tournament. The tournament will be held in Marshall, Texas at the host site of ETBU. The time of first pitch is TBD.
