CHICAGO - In the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's tennis tournament, Concordia Texas knocked off 46th-ranked Luther College by a score of 5-1. The Tornados swept doubles play en route to the Tornados' first ever NCAA Tournament victory in the program's history.

In doubles action, Esteban Arredondo & Joeri Bregman collected the first win of the day with a 8-3 triumph on line three. Joshua Bode & Adrian Munguia gave CTX a 2-0 lead with an 8-4 decision on flight one, while Daniel Beckles & Kishan Kersten secured the doubles sweep with an 8-5 triumph.

Moving into singles, Bode moved the Tornados within one victory away from clinching with a swift 6-2, 6-0 win on line one. Luther would avoid elimination with one victory on line two, but Bregman would clinch the series with a 6-0, 6-4 win on line five.
