AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas volleyball team was bested in 3-0 contest against Schreiner University The Tornados honored their eight seniors with a postgame ceremony inside the Deb & Don Fieldhouse on Saturday.

Schreiner led 12-10 midway through the first set before extending their lead with a 6-0 run. They would go on to claim game one with a 25-14 win.

In set two, the Mountaineers kept up the momentum for a 10-2 advantage. This would give them breathing room for a 25-16 win in the game.

Schreiner led 8-7 when a 5-1 burst gave them separation needed to go on for a 25-16 victory in the final set.

Concordia Texas will next head to Conway, Arkansas to compete in the second SCAC Crossover of the season. They will first take on the host, Hendrix College, this Friday, October 24th. First serve is scheduled for 7pm.
