ROUND ROCK, Texas -- An 83rd minute goal proved to be the difference for fourth-seeded Concordia (TX) as the Tornados secured a 1-0 win over top-seeded Texas Lutheran in the first SCAC Women's Soccer Tournament semifinal at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Following a scoreless first half, Texas Lutheran had a penalty kick opportunity in the 48th minute, but Avery Wright made the save, one of three for her in a four minute stretch early in the second half. With time winding down inside the final 10 minutes, Concordia capitalized in the 83rd minute as Avery Walker finished off a double assist from Maddie Oberholtzer and Tatum Winn for the game winner.

- Walker's goal marked the third of the season for the senior who now leads the Tornados with eight points.
- Winn tallied her fifth assist of the season which leads the team.
- The Bulldogs outshot the Tornados 25-10 in the contest with 13 on goal to Concordia's three.
- Wright posted 13 saves in the match, a season-high for the senior. Her 13 saves also are the sixth most saves in SCAC Women's Soccer Tournament history & the most since 2021.
