AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's soccer team was bested by a score of 3-0 against Hardin-Simmons University. Senior goalkeeper
Avery Wright posted four saves on Thursday at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.
It was a heavily contested battle in the first half where the Tornados had a prime opportunity for the first score when a run & strike by
Lorian Lopez sailed just high of the cross bar.
As both teams exited the halftime break scoreless, the Cowgirls would breakthrough in the 55th minute and then add two more in the 69th & 82nd minutes.Â
Concordia Texas will next travel to San Antonio to take on Trinity. Kick off is scheduled for 7pm.
