KINGSLAND, Texas – Katelyn Miller & Remme Trujillo posted top-15 finishes to lead the Concordia University Texas women's golf team at the 2026 Texas Legends Cup, which concluded Tuesday. The Tornados tied for sixth overall at the Legends Golf Course.
Miller finished ninth overall as she paced the at 7-over par for the 36-hole tournament. After opening with a 77 (+5) on Monday, she improved by three strokes in the final round, carding a 74 (+2) to finish with a two-day total of 151.
Miller's consistency was highlighted by 22 pars, tied for 11th-most in the field, while she also recorded four birdies, tied for eighth-most. She played the par-5 holes at even par, which was tied for fourth-best in the tournament.
Trujillo made one of the biggest moves of the final round for the Tornados. After shooting an 83 (+11) in the opening round, Trujillo fired a 73 (+1) on Tuesday to tie for 15th. Her 10-stroke improvement moved her up 24 spots into a tie for 15th overall at 12-over (156).
Trujillo was especially strong on the par-4s, playing them at just 2-over for the tournament and tying for eighth-best in the field. She also finished with 24 pars, tied for eighth-most among all competitors.
Maddisyn Leluga also made a significant improvement in the final round, shaving nine strokes off her opening-round score. Leluga followed a 90 with an 81 to finish 48th overall at 27-over (171).
Reese Trujillo finished tied for 55th at 29-over (173), posting rounds of 83 and 90. Alexa Ibarraran rounded out the Tornados' team lineup at 36-over, while Silvia Alejandra Martinez-Ibarra, competing as an individual, finished tied for 50th at 28-over.
The Tornados were particularly strong in the final round, with Miller, Remme Trujillo and Leluga combining to improve by 22 strokes from their opening-round scores.

Concordia Texas will next head to Gladewater, Texas to compete in the Tempest Intercollegiate on October 5-6.
