SUWANNEE, Georgia - Katelyn Miller a sophomore from Jerome, Idaho, has been selected the SCAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Monday, September 21 through Tuesday, September 22. SCAC Golf Release (Week 2).

Miller is the first Tornado women's golfer to earn Golfer of the Week honors since 2024. She is also the first ever Tornado women's golfer to earn the honor from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Miller led the Tornados to a tie for sixth place at the Texas Legends Cup earlier this week, posting a top 10 finish, securing ninth. Miller, the top SCAC finisher in the field, fired rounds of 77 (+5) and 74 (+2) for a two-round total of 151 (+7).

She was outstanding on the Par 5 holes; finishing tied for fourth out of the 72 competing golfers with an even par 5.00 scoring average. Miller also finished the tournament tied for eighth with four birdies and her 22 were tied for the 11th most in the field.

Miller has been dynamic for the Tornados through her first two tournaments with the program. At the John Nellermoe Classic last week, the sophomore tied for first with a two-round score of 154 (+10). Miller carded matching rounds of 77 before ultimately finishing runner-up following a tiebreaker round.

Miller and the Tornados will next head to Gladewater, Texas to compete in the Tempest Intercollegiate on October 5-6.
