Outlook (2010-2011) 

Christen McLee comes to Concordia Texas after spending two years at South Plains Junior College. McLee guided the perennial powerhouse program to a 44-17 record in her two years there. The wing from San Antonio, Texas made appearances in all 31 games last year. Out of high school Christen was named Honorable Mention All-District in her senior campaign while helping Judson High to a regional semifinal appearance.

As a sophomore at South Plains, McLee averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds per game while playing for head coach Michelle Wyatt. Christen shot over 35% from the floor and scored a career-high 12 points against Colby Community College. 

McLee earned a 3.7 college grade point average at South Plains and was a member of Phi Thetta Kappa.

Head Coach Rusty Rainbolt said Christen provides an explosive presence for the Tornados on the perimeter.

"Christen is a player who can do it all. Her ability to work outside-in, defend and rebound will be huge advantage for us this year. She has an excellent attention to detail and works really hard day in and day out. She is great in our up-tempo style and we love her ability to guard multiple positions for us."

High School 

McLee averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game as a senior on her way to garnering honors on two all-tournament teams. She also played club basketball for Coach Natalie Gomez and the Converse All-Stars.

In addition to her time on the basketball court, Christen was a letter-winner on the volleyball and track & field teams at Judson High School. 

Christen played alongside standout South Plain's star Sajoyia Griffin, who is now playing for San Diego State University.

Personal 

Christen is the daughter of Chris and Rochelle McLee, and she has two sisters, Channell (29) and Ciara (18). She is a behavioral science major who has hopes of one day becoming a marriage and family psychologist.
