Outlook (2010-2011)

Margaret Milling returns for her sophomore season for Concordia after coming off of one of the most decorated freshman seasons in ASC history. Milling, a 5'8 guard, was the American Southwest Conference Freshman of the Year in 2009-2010.

Last year Margaret averaged 8 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals a game for CTX. She received ASC All Defensive Team honors after leading the conference in steals with 94. Milling made starts in 17 contests for CTX and shot 43% from the field. Against Schreiner last year Margaret had 14 points, 10 steals and 5 assists in a 26 point victory. She scored a career-high 16 points against Hardin-Simmons University. Milling was ranked in the NCAA Divison III top 25 last year in steals (94) and steals per game (3.76).

Head Coach Rusty Rainbolt said Milling brings an oustanding playmaking ability to the Tornado team.

"Margaret is one of the most physically gifted players I have ever coached. Her ability to run through passing lanes and get to the rim is outstanding. Her athleticism fits in very well in our pressing system and Margaret is great in transition. The energy and work ethic she brings to the court really makes our team go. With her jump shot developing she could be even more dangerous this year."

High School

Margaret averaged 8 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals per game as a senior on her way to all-district honors at Paschal High School. She was a two-year starter for coach Roy Cranfill. 

Outside of the court Milling was a two-time letter winner on the track & field team.

Personal

Margaret is the daughter of Karren and Chuck Milling and has two sisters, Kimberly (23), Katherine (21), and two brothers, Matthew (34) and Charlie (31). She is a kinesology major with hopes of one day owning her own small business.
