Outlook (2010-2011) 

Dominique Mayberry comes to Concordia Texas after spending two years at Houston Baptist University. Mayberry helped the Division I program to 11 wins in her two years there. The point guard from Bay City, Texas made six starts last year and played in 18 total contests. Out of high school Dominique was named First-Team All-District in her senior campaign while helping Bay City to the district title in 2007-2008.

As a sophomore at Houston Baptist Mayberry averaged 4.4 points and 2.4 assists per game while playing of head coach Todd Buchanan. Dominique shot over 30% from the floor and made starts against Duke and LSU. 

Head Coach Rusty Rainbolt said Dominique provides the Tornados with an explosive guard who can really push the ball and make plays in the open-court.

"Dominique has an ability to do so many things with her athleticism. Her ability to change speeds and handle the ball allows her to create alot of opportunities for us. Defensively she can really cause problems for opponents by getting into the ball and in passing lanes. She is just one of those players that you just love to coach with her competitiveness and great spirit on and off the court.

High School 

Mayberry averaged 14 points, 6 assists and 4 steals per game as a senior on her way to being named the MVP and First Team All-District. She guided her squad to a 22-6 record while playing for head coach Sherby Wilkerson. Dominique finished high school with a 3.8 g.p.a. and was a member of the National Honor Society

Mayberry had an illustrious high school AAU career playing for the Houston Elite, Fort Bend Silver Stars and Girls Unlimited.

In addition to her time on the basketball court, Dominique was a letter-winner on the volleyball and track & field teams at Bay City High School.

Personal 

Dominique is the daughter of Darrin Mayberry and Jacqueline Jackson, and she has a sister, Andrea (16). She is a kinesiology major who has hopes of one day coaching basketball at the collegiate level.
