Hays … Was an all-district first team selection in 2009, 2010 and 2011 after garnering all-district second team accolades as a freshman in 2008 … Served as a team captain for multiple years … Helped the squad record an undefeated 14-0 ledger in freshman season and a 13-1 mark during sophomore and senior campaigns … Team was also district champions, co-district title winners, a regional semifinalist and regional quarterfinalist during four-year tenure … Lettered in cross country for three years and track & field for two seasons … Was a district champion in the two-mile (11:54) as a harrier and a regional finalist in the mile (5:49) in track & field … Captained the cross country team and led the squad to a pair of district titles and a third-place finish in the district … Honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society … Was also an active participant with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
