One of four players selected to start all 42 games … Was selected the team’s newcomer of the year at the 2011 CTX Athletics Banquet … Batted .236 with 26 hits, including doubles, and plated 14 runs … Scored three times and was issued 13 walks … Ranked second on the squad in fielding percentage (.982) and third in walks … Started the season on a six-game hitting streak and drove in one run in each of the first three games … Recorded first of four multi-hit games by going 2-for-3 versus Mississippi College (2/21) … Went 2-for-3 with one RBI in a 4-0 shutout of Ozarks (3/5) … Had the walk-off hit and went 3-for-4 with two RBI in a 6-5 come-from-behind win over Hardin-Simmons (3/31) in the first game of a doubleheader before adding two more hits in the nightcap.
