As a Junior (2007):
Appeared in 94 sets for the Tornados, totaling 256 digs … recorded 14 service aces during the season.
As a Sophomore (2006):
Appeared in 102 games for the Tornados, totaling 515 digs (5.05 dpg) in her sophomore season … posted a season high 44 digs against Mary Hardin-Baylor (10/27) … recorded digs above 30 in three other games, McMurray (43), McMurray (31), and Mary Hardin-Baylor (30) during the season

As a Freshman (2005):
Played in 22 of the Tornados 24 matches, tallying 92 digs (1.46 dpg) during her inaugural campaign….recorded a season-high 14 digs against Mississippi College (10/7) and posted double digit dig totals on 10/22 against Austin College (11) and Texas-Tyler (12)….totaled a season best two kills against Austin College (10/22)….played for the Concordia softball team in the spring of 2006.

Before Concordia:
Was a four-year letter winner in softball and track, and lettered three years in both volleyball and basketball at Lutheran….led the Lions to the TAPPS state volleyball Final Four during her senior season….garnered Second Team All-District honors in 2004….a Wendy’s High School Heisman Award nominee….added All-District accolades in softball as she led her team to a TAPPS state championship in 2004 and two state runner-up finishes in 2002 and 2005….was a state finalist in the discus in 2004….graduated magna cum laude.

Full name is Jacqueline Renae Gerard….born December 5, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas….is the daughter of Dana and Dana Gerard….has two younger brothers, Caleb (15) and Luke (6)….majoring in Secondary Education.
