Manny Iloba

Kelvin “Manny” Iloba was added to the Tornados’ men's soccer coaching staff as a graduate assistant in August of 2018. 

Iloba comes to Concordia from the University of St. Thomas (Texas) in Houston, where he played soccer and was also a member of the UST women’s soccer coaching staff before graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in the spring of 2018.

As a member of the Celts’ soccer team, Iloba played in 64 of UST’s 66 matches. In four seasons, Iloba racked up 11 goals and six assists to earn All-Red River Athletic Conference First Team honors all four years of his career with the Celts. Additionally, he also earned Honorable Mention NAIA All-American honors in 2015.

In his one season as a student assistant with the St. Thomas women’s soccer program, Iloba helped the Celts finish 11-6-2, win the RRAC Tournament Championship and advance to the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round for the first time in school history.

Growing up, Iloba was a member of Manchester United FC, Manchester City FC and Bolton Wanderers FC. Iloba attended and got his high school diploma from Crescent Hall International School in Lagos, Nigeria, before moving to the United States in the Fall of 2013. Iloba will be pursuing an MBA in his time at Concordia.
