Matteo Curioni enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Concordia Texas men's soccer program.
Curioni has worked with several clubs in California and in his native Italy. He also had collegiate experience, serving in a similar role at the University of La Verne in 2013.
He has also worked at St. Edward's University in Austin and currently coaches the girls' team at St. Andrew's Episcopal School.
In addition to his wealth of experience, Curioni holds UEFA B and USSF C coaching licenses. He is a certified school soccer instructor with the Italian Football Federation and the sports director for the Italian National Olympic Committee.
Prior to immigrating to the United States, Curioni worked for several years as a teacher at various education levels.
Curioni currently resides in Austin.
