Brittani Whitten

Brittani Whitten is in her third season as a part of the CTX softball coaching staff after a very successful two-year career as a member of the Tornados softball program.

In her career, Whitten had a .401 batting average with 15 doubles, three triples and seven homers over 60 career games. She was also 19-for-19 in her career in stolen base attempts, which is tied for 10th in program history.

Going into the 2019 season, Whitten is tied for seventh in program history in career home runs and tied for ninth in most triples. In the 2018 season, Whitten had the third-highest OBP (.511) in single-season history as well as the sixth highest batting average (.413), slugging percentage (.720) and stolen bases (10).

Whitten earned a number of accolades in her career, including being selected NFCA Second Team All-Region and Second Team All-ASC in 2018. She also was named Third Team All-ASC her junior season.

Coming out of Roseville High School in Roseville, Calif., Whitten spent her first two collegiate seasons at Tyler Junior College where she played in 105 career games in two seasons. Over two years at TJC, she racked up 11 homers, 43 RBIs and a .293 average.

Whitten graduated in the spring of 2018 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and currently lives in Austin, Texas with her fiance Joey.
