Brooke Jones is in her third season as a volunteer assistant for the softball coaching staff after spending two seasons as the graduate assistant for the program in the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
In her two seasons with the Tornados as a member of the coaching staff, CTX has won 44 games, including winning 25 in the 2018 season, the second-most in program history. Jones has helped the Tornados advance to the ASC Tournament each season, with CTX advancing to the ASC semifinals for the first time since 2000 last year.
Prior to her two-year stint as a graduate assistant, Jones was a member of the 2015 and 2016 CTX softball teams. In two years with the Tornados, Jones was a stalwart at first base, starting every single game (77) in both seasons. She hit .303 with 16 doubles and 29 RBIs in her career and was solid defensively for CTX.
In her career, Jones ranks third in most putouts (438) and tied for 10th in most doubles. In the 2016 season, she played a solid first base and ended the year with 260 total putouts (third all-time) and a .989 fielding percentage (10th all-time). Jones earned Honorable Mention All-ASC honors in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Jones spent her first two seasons at Cisco Junior College after graduating from Sacshe High School. While at Cisco, she batted .308 with 13 doubles, five homers and 39 RBIs over two seasons.
Jones achieved her bachelor's degree in computer science from Concordia in 2016 and her master's degree in business in 2018.
