Kennedy Coffin

Kennedy Coffin was named the graduate assistant for the Concordia Texas softball team in January of 2019. She enters her second season with the program, assisting head softball coach Jeff Staton with the day-to-day duties of the program.

A 2017 graduate of Concordia Texas, Coffin returns to the team after spending two years as a player in the 2016 and 2017 seasons. In her time with the Tornados as a player, Coffin appeared in 37 games with 27 career starts. In her senior season, Coffin started in 23 total games on the year, hitting .236 with a .309 slugging percentage. She finished the year with four doubles, five RBI and six runs scored. 

Prior to attending CTX, Coffin spent the first two years of her career as a member of the Howard Payne softball program. In her sophomore year with the Yellow Jackets, Coffin hit .235 with four doubles and nine RBIs in 30 contests.

Coffin achieved her bachelor's degree in education from Concordia in 2017 and is currently working towards gaining a master's degree in coaching.Â
