Tiffany Wheeler is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Concordia Texas softball team.

In her first year with the Tornados, CTX finished the year with 25 wins, the second-most in school history. The Tornados also advanced to the American Southwest Conference Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2000.

Prior to coming to Concordia, Wheeler was the head coach at Westwood High School in Austin from 2005-2017. In her 12 years with Westwood, Wheeler was named district coach of the year twice in 2005 and 2006.

Before coaching at Westwood, Wheeler was the head softball coach for Baytown Sterling High School from 2001-2005 where she won two district coach of the year awards in 2002 and 2003.

In her 16 years as a head softball coach at the high school level, Wheeler led her team to six district championships and 11 state playoff appearances. Her overall record as a head softball coach at the high school level is 321-191. 

Wheeler played college softball at Southeastern Louisiana University from 1996-1998 before transferring to play at Texas A&M-Kingsville University from 1998-2000. She was a second team all Lone Star Conference second basemen her senior year at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
 
A 2000 graduate of Texas A&M Kingsville with a degree in Kinesiology and minor in Biology, Tiffany still teaches Biomedical Sciences at Westwood High School, and her biggest fans are her family Kim, Matt, Lexi, Sam, Annika, and her dog named, Sox.
