Made 16 appearances as a freshman … earned a place on the ASC West Division All-Freshman Team … averaged 4.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.4 blocked shots and 0.9 steals per game … led the Tornados with 22 blocks … scored a career-high 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting in the season-opening victory over East Texas Baptist (Nov. 26) … had eight points, five rebounds and three blocks in a 63-53 road victory at Hardin-Simmons (Jan. 21) … scored eight points and established two season-high marks with eight boards and four steals in a 93-66 rout of Sul Ross State (Jan. 26) that punched the Tornados’ ticket to the ASC Tournament … turned away a season-best four shots and corralled five rebounds in a pivotal 60-56 win over Howard Payne (Jan. 28) before recording seven points and six boards a week later against the Yellow Jackets … contributed six points, six rebounds and three blocked shots versus Texas-Dallas in the Tornados’ 61-46 victory in the semifinal round of the ASC Tournament.

High School
Earned two letters at Thurgood Marshall High School in Houston as a junior and senior after playing two years at Hastings High School … three-year team captain who averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and three assists … earned first-team all-district honors as a senior and second-team all-district laurels as a junior … boted squad’s best defensive player all four years … two-time academic all-district honoree … helped Thurgood Marshall HS win over 51 games and Hastings HS triumph in more than 45 … led Hastings HS to district crown as a freshman … an Honor Roll student who graduated magna cum laude … part of a mentoring program for underclassmen at Thurgood Marshall HS … member of the National Honor Society and Peer Assistant Leadership Skills … actively involved with community service activities … received the Delta Sigma Theta scholarship.
